How to set camera offsets correctly

Applies to: RedSpy

Goal:
Align RedSpy camera tracking with the physical camera sensor.

When you need this:

• Camera mount position changed

• RS camera reinstalled

Steps:

1. Open Offsets settings.

2. Enter translational offsets (X, Y, Z) based on physical mounting.

3. Set rotation offsets (Pan, Tilt, Roll) to match orientation. 

4. Rotational offsets need to be finetuned by following Penalty method instructions. 

5. Save profile.

Expected result:
Virtual graphics stay aligned with camera movement.

Common issues / fixes:

• Graphics drift → offsets not updated after remount

• Inverted movement → rotation order incorrect

Escalate to support if:

• Stable alignment cannot be achieved after multiple adjustments
